As the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to expand in our digital age, discerning which tools are worth investing in becomes increasingly crucial. There are three AI software platforms that, in my experience, you might want to reconsider before investing: Ad Creative AI, Oasis AI, and Adobe’s Image Generator.
Starting with Ad Creative AI, the promise of this platform initially appeared promising. It offers an enticing proposition: evaluate and optimize your Facebook ads using AI technology. I found the ads quite enticing, and the seven-day free trial provided a compelling hook. However, as I delved deeper into the system, I found it to be not just costly but inefficient. For instance, creating a single ad in three different aspect ratios consumed more than half of my available credits.
Moreover, when I ran the ad for one of my clients, I was disappointed with its performance compared to other top-performing ads. Adding to its limitations is its inability to create video creatives. While it does offer video analysis, this feature falls short as it does not provide guidance on creating new video content. Despite these setbacks, I will continue to monitor this software as I believe its shortcomings could be attributed to its early stage of development.

Better Solution: I found using Apple Notes’ transcription feature, coupled with rewording from ChatGPT, to be a more effective and affordable option. And with a quick prompt, you can get lots of better quality forms of content.
Lastly, we have Adobe’s Express’s Image Generator. It appears to be Adobe’s attempt to replicate Canvas’s success, but sadly, it doesn’t quite hit the mark. This tool lacks the expansive library that Canva offers and falls short of creating aesthetically pleasing designs. In my experience, only one out of 20 images was passable. The tool uses a disjointed method of creating graphics, akin to patching together a paper-mâché project.
Better Solution: I would recommend the Midjourney platform, which produces high-quality images at an affordable price.
Bonus Solution: I also prefer Canva over Adobe Express even though Express is included in my Adobe subscription.
