If an ad is built to feel like real UGC, but it’s actually synthetic, you’re in a higher-risk zone-particularly when trust is the whole mechanism that makes the ad work.

2) Manipulation: when personalization becomes covert steering

AI can optimize persuasion faster than any human team. That’s the point-and it’s also the problem when personalization turns into pressure.

So the real operational question becomes: can you govern platform-driven outcomes, not just your initial intent? If your reporting only tracks ROAS and CPA, you may be missing the compliance story entirely.

A lean compliance framework that won’t slow growth

Most compliance programs fail because they’re built like bureaucracy. Performance marketing needs something more practical: guardrails that keep speed while reducing exposure. Here’s a framework teams can actually run.
